Roma: Rafa vs. Federer (Set 3)

I'm glad Rafa was able to win the set. If he was down 2 sets, it would have been too big a hole for him.

Rafa is playing a bit better now. Getting more aggressive. Shirt change.

RF has been playing very well. His level went down a bit in that tiebreak, and Rafa raised his game.

RF has played a lot more tennis than Rafa this week. Commentators are saying the longer this goes on, it may favor Rafa.

Rafa jogs to the baseline. Match is 2 hours, 16 minutes old.

RF to serve. Game RF.

0-1, RF.

Rafa held at love.

1-1.

Rafa has a break point. 30-40. RF saved it with a great FH. Deuce. Ad RF. He holds. Too bad Rafa couldn't have taken advantage of that opportunity.

1-2, RF.

30-30. Danger time again for Rafa. Keep fighting, Rafa!!! Great pass. 40-30. Mishit off good serve. Game Rafa.

2-2.

15-15. RF is showing a little frustration, though. Rafa has another BP after a wild FH. He passed, and got the game. Vamos!!!

3-2, RN.

Rafa to serve. He needs to keep fighting here, and keep the pressure on. Deuce. Rafa has to be careful here. Keep fighting, Rafa!!! Come on, Rafa!!! He draws the error from RF. Ad Rafa. Rafa was lucky there. He held.

4-2, RN.

RF held at love.

4-3, RN.

Keep fighting, Rafa!!! And he does. He holds with an ace.

5-3, RN.

They have each won 100 points. Very close match. 40-15. Ace. RF holds. Now it's up to Rafa to serve for the set. Vamos, Rafa!!!

5-4, RN.

Rafa has to be very careful here, not to let RF back into the set. Three set points for our baby bull. Vamos!!! He converts the first one.

6-4, RN.
