Looking ahead to Indian Wells

In less than one week, Lopaka (aka Bob and Uncle Lopy) and I will head to Indian Wells for some sun and fun in the desert. There's no doubt about the sun, especially during the day, although the nights can get very cool. Which makes packing a particular challenge.

This will be my sixth time attending this event. Unfortunately, Rafa had to pull out with an injury last year, so I cancelled IW, and went to Miami instead. I hope such last minute travel changes will not be necessary this year.

I look forward to meeting Lopaka, and to seeing other friends there, too.

The draw is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6. After it is made, I'll post my thoughts, as I get ready for the desert.
